CMD Recruitment is seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our client’s team based in Melksham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Controls Engineer to join a well established, growing company. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of control systems for a variety of projects.
You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software
- Select appropriate control equipment and components
- Configure and program PLCs and other control devices
- Develop system documentation, including design specifications and test procedures
- Conduct system testing and commissioning
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting
Your Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of control system principles and architectures
- Experience with PLC programming and configuration
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring practices
- Proficiency in CAD software
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
