We are seeking a dependable and experienced Dealership Loaner Supervisor to oversee all activities related to the management and operation of loaner vehicles at a car dealership in Alpharetta, GA. This role ensures the efficient dispatch of drivers and valet attendants, accurate handling of loaner vehicle keys, and proper management of associated paperwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the loaner vehicle program, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Dispatch drivers and valet attendants to park, retrieve, and stage loaner vehicles for the sales and service departments.
- Maintain an organized system for loaner vehicle keys, ensuring proper tracking and security.
- Oversee and manage loaner vehicle paperwork, including customer agreements and vehicle condition reports.
- Coordinate with the sales and service teams to ensure loaner vehicles are available and in good condition.
- Monitor the condition and cleanliness of loaner vehicles, addressing issues or coordinating maintenance as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints related to the loaner vehicle program, escalating to management as necessary.
- Train and guide team members on policies and procedures related to the loaner vehicle program.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with staff and customers effectively.
- Knowledge of vehicle management systems and tracking tools is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with basic administrative tasks such as record-keeping and data entry.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer or operational issues promptly.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, running, and standing for extended periods
- Must be able to lift/push up to 25 lbs and enter/exit vehicles regularly
- Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor settings and includes exposure to weather elements (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to remain alert and focused for full 4–8-hour shifts
