We are seeking a dependable and experienced Directional Parking Attendant to oversee daily lot operations and serve as a frontline leader in East Rutherford, NJ. This role is responsible for safely directing vehicles, maintaining a strong client-facing presence, and assisting with communication. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of leading by example in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient and safe movement of vehicles across the lot and designated areas
- Maintain professional, courteous interactions with clients, guests, and team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Account Manager
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be 18 years or older for driving responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous valet or lot operations experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking, running, and standing for extended periods
- Must be able to lift/push up to 25 lbs and enter/exit vehicles regularly
- Work takes place in both indoor and outdoor settings and includes exposure to weather elements (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to remain alert and focused for full 4–8-hour shifts
